How to complete or reschedule reminders

Review pending follow-ups, open the right reminder, and use Complete or Postpone only when you want to update the team's next step.

Updated

For: Owner, Admin

Before You Start

  • Use this screen to decide which follow-up needs attention now.
  • Complete marks the reminder as done for the team.
  • Postpone moves the reminder date by 1 day or 7 days.
  • If you are only reviewing information, do not click Complete, Postpone, Reopen, or Delete.

1. Review the follow-ups list

  1. Go to Follow-ups.
  2. Review the Active, Overdue, Today, and Upcoming counters.
  3. Use search when you need to find a customer or a related job, quote, invoice, or visit.
  4. Confirm the customer, scheduled date, linked item, type, and status before opening the reminder.

In the list, the Marcus Johnson follow-up is overdue and linked to a deep cleaning invoice.

2. Open the right reminder

  1. Click the scheduled date or another part of the row that is not the linked item name.
  2. If you click the linked item, IMPULSO opens that invoice, quote, job, or visit instead of the reminder detail.
  3. When the detail opens, confirm the customer and current status before taking action.

The detail header shows the customer, current status, and main actions.

3. Complete it when the follow-up is done

  1. Read the reminder notes and confirm that the requested action has already been handled.
  2. Click Complete only when the team has made the call, sent the email, or finished the follow-up.
  3. After completion, the reminder no longer counts as pending.
Updates the real reminder Complete changes the follow-up status. This button was not clicked during verification.

4. Postpone it if you need more time

  1. Click Postpone.
  2. Choose 1 day when you want to move it to the next workday.
  3. Choose 7 days when you need to move it one week out.
  4. Check the new date in the list after postponing it.

Opening the menu does not change anything. The date changes when you choose 1 day or 7 days.

5. States and actions you may see

States help you decide whether to act now, leave it for later, or review a follow-up that is already closed.
