How to use services in quotes and invoices

Learn how saved services help fill quote and invoice line items with consistent names.

1. Prepare the service

  1. Go to Settings > Services.
  2. Confirm the service exists in the list.
  3. When creating or editing it, review that it is available for quotes, jobs, and invoices.

  1. Available in quotes, jobs, and invoices controls where the item can be selected.
  2. Use it for repeated services such as roofing, gutter cleaning, HVAC, or pressure washing.
  3. Save the change only when you want to keep it.

3. Use it in a quote

  1. In the Services section of a quote, add a line item.
  2. The service name helps keep descriptions and prices more consistent.
  3. Adjust quantity, price, tax, or discount based on the job.

4. Use it in an invoice

  1. On an invoice, add services or products to the detail.
  2. Use saved services so you do not type the same items from scratch.
  3. Review subtotal, tax, and total before sending or collecting.
